It’s a good day to be a fan of TV series in Milan, as Stardust by QMI is kicking off the first edition of Series Con this weekend. Packed with talks, guests and talents, special screenings and awards, it’s a two-day event (11-12 May) devoted to television and serialised entertainment hosted at Tenoha Milano.
While Skam Italia will receive the Golden Couch Award for best series 2018-2019, and Tommaso Ragno will get the Golden Screen Award for best Italian performer, special guests attending Series Con will include actors and actresses from leading TV shows ranging from Gomorra – La serie to Romolo+Giuly, as well as writer Niccolò Ammaniti and a line-up of Netflix Italia stand-up comedians.
Previews of episodes from series such as Chernobyl, The Rain, Fleabag, Lethal Weapon and The Big Bang Theory are scheduled along industry panels, so that fans will have the chance not only to interact with the cast of their beloved shows, but also to get to know the production process behind them by listening to directors, producers and writers.
